After a lot of research, I found that computers from a number of brands seem to be running into this problem. My computer, based on an MSI motherboard, was one of those. Hi Anantha The size of is approx 4. Through the usual way, yes that does happen, the update can fail and re-downloads, which can eat a lot of data The only other method is to download the new Windows 10 ISO, however that is 4.

The advantage of this method, is that the update will only have to be downloaded once. How satisfied are you with this reply?

There are many restaurants, coffee shop etc out there that you can probably do this from. Then run it manually. See link below to download it manually.
