In the Named Items Not Used panel, check boxes allow you to choose purgeable items by category or by individual item. You can now purge zero-length geometry without purging empty text objects as well. The ability to view non-purgeable things with a single click is the most significant change.

The new design gives expanded information for objects that cannot be purged, such as better explanations for why items cannot be purged, how many times a non-purgeable item has been used, what levels those items are on, and their impact on file size. Furthermore, with a non-purgeable item chosen, you can swiftly zoom to those things by clicking a Select Objects button.

Those things are also selected in the drawing, making it easy to make changes. You could, for example, update the characteristics of the selected non-purgeable objects to relocate them to a separate layer, allowing you to then purge the layer on which they were previously put. The revised Purge dialog makes it easy to delete unwanted elements while also explaining why some objects cannot be removed from a drawing. In response to user input, the DWG Compare tool was improved in the edition.

You may now quickly compare the current drawing to another drawing and import desired changes into the current drawing in real time. Any modifications you make to the current or comparative drawings are instantly compared and noted. While most of the comparison choices remain the same, the DWG Compare tools now show on a docked toolbar at the top of the drawing area rather than on a ribbon.

The majority of the options have been consolidated into a Settings control panel that can be pinned open and moved around the screen, allowing you to easily change the default comparison colors, toggle the comparison categories on and off, swap the order of drawings, adjust revision clouds, and so on.
